Readings

Only three of the readings this semester will come from purchased books. The rest will be e-texts that you can download from Google Drive. Check the calendar for chapter/page numbers to read for each class meeting. Additional reading assignments will be provided as needed. All literary reading will be the basis for reading notes and engaging class discussions. For quote responses, students will look up scholarly articles that discuss topics of interest related to the literature.

E-texts are available here. You download the Google Document as a PDF to print if you'd like, or you can download the ".epub" version to read on your tablet of smart phone (I recommend the Google Book app, if you have Android). I will need your Gmail address to give you access to the e-texts.
